From out of the blue, in 2025, a wonderful thing happened …
A gorgeous Reformer Pilates studio opened around the corner from me - and I was hooked.
Not because I was going to set the world alight with my glute bridges, but because I loved the experience: the community, the precious me-time, the pre-class buzz, the post-class glow, and that amazing calm, clear head you leave with.
My local studio was already stocking Pointe Studio grip socks from California - absorbing international shipping and customs costs for their clients. And it was after my fifth purchase of a pair (and a chance conversation with Fran at Le Barre in Colchester), that The Studio Edit was born.
Finally, the long and winding path to finding my second career had come to a fun, busy, buzzing destination (thank goodness I failed that computer science masters!)…
